Musikschule
Das Gebäude wurde 1893 von Bildhauer und Geweihmöbelfabrikant Vitus Madel an der neu angelegten Bahnhofstraße errichtet. Es zeigte damals den typischen Baustil der Jahrhundertwende und war mit Erkern, Türmchen und historisierenden Schmuckelementen geziert. Zu Beginn des 20.Jh. erwarb Dr. Carl B. Herrligkoffer das Anwesen. Er eröffnete hier eine angesehene Arztpraxis, die von Sohn und Schwiegersohn weitergeführt wurde. Im Jahre 1934 wurde das Gebäude dem neuen Zeitgeschmack entsprechend modern umgestaltet und behielt lange den Namen ‚Herrligkofferhaus‘. Nach umfangreichen Umbauarbeiten befindet sich seit 2008 hier die Städtische Sing- und Musikschule.
Music School
The building was constructed next to the newly built Bahnhofstraße by sculptor and producer of antler furniture Vitus Madel in 1893. Back then it was a typical example for the new architectural style of the turn of the century and was decorated with oriel windows, small towers and historicizing ornaments. At the beginning of the 20th century Dr. Carl B. Herrligkoffer bought the residence. He opened a respected medical practice which later was continued by his son and son in law. In 1934 the building was refurbished to fit the contemporary style and for a long time kept the name “Herrligkoffer House”. After further extensive renovations, it has accommodated the town’s school for song and music since 2008.
L´école de musique
Le bâtiment a été construit en 1893 par le sculpteur et fabricant de meubles de bois Vitus Madel sur la rue de la Gare nouvellement aménagée. A cette époque, il présentait le style architectural typique du début du siècle et était orné de baies vitrées, de tourelles et d'éléments décoratifs historicisants. Au début du 20ème siècle le Dr. Carl B. Herrligkoffer a fait l’acquisition la propriété. Il y a ouvert un cabinet médical renommé, dont l’activité qui a été poursuivie par son fils et son gendre. En 1934, le bâtiment a été réaménagé selon le nouveau goût de l'époque et a longtemps conservé le nom de « Herrligkofferhaus ». Depuis 2008, après d'importants travaux de rénovation, le bâtiment accueille l'école municipale de chant et de musique.

L’edificio fu eretto nel 1893 dallo scultore e fabbricante di mobili in corna Vitus Madel sulla nuova Bahnofstrasse. In quel periodo andava di moda lo stile architettonico tipico del cambio secolo con torrette, bovindi ed altri elementi decorativi antichizzanti. All’inizio del XX secolo, il dott. Carl Borromäus Herligkoffer acquistò la proprietà per aprirci uno studio medico, proseguito poi da suo figlio e da suo genero. Nel 1934, la dimora venne ridisegnata secondo il nuovo gusto dell’epoca e mantenne a lungo il nome di "Herrligkoffer-Haus". Dopo lunghi lavori di ristrutturazione, la casa divenne nel 2008 la sede della scuola comunale di canto e musica.
